Google Analytics Audits

Challenge: A company offering Google Analytics audits to businesses of all sizes needed to increase website conversions and attract a wider audience. The existing website copy lacked clarity and failed to effectively communicate the value proposition of professional audits.

Solution: I was tasked with creating compelling website copy that would resonate with the target audience and drive conversions. My approach consisted of two key phases:

Phase 1: Research & Analysis

  • Audience Research: I examined customer data, online forums, and industry insights to understand businesses seeking Google Analytics audits. Many recognised the value of data analysis but lacked the expertise or time to conduct effective audits.

  • Competitor Analysis: I reviewed competitors’ websites and marketing strategies to identify best practices and market gaps. Many relied on technical jargon, which often alienated less tech-savvy business owners.

Phase 2: Copy Development

  • Value Proposition: The copy focused on clear, tangible benefits—improved website performance, increased ROI, and data-driven decision-making—while avoiding complex technical language.

  • Convenience & Expertise: I highlighted the time-saving benefits and expert insights provided by professional analysts, allowing business owners to concentrate on their core operations.

  • Targeted Messaging: The content was tailored to different business sizes and industries, ensuring relevance. Small businesses saw an emphasis on cost-effectiveness and ease of use, while larger enterprises found messaging around scalability and in-depth analysis.

Results

The new website copy resulted in an increase in website conversions, and improved click-through rates.

The client also reported increased brand awareness and positive customer feedback.
