Website Content Strategy Services

Turn lost traffic into enquiries and conversions

I connect what people are searching for, how your pages are organised, and what visitors actually need to read.

Sick of your website visitors arriving, seeing, then leaving?

Let's find out what's really going on

Your website pages could look good and the copy might even read well – but if you don’t have a website content strategy in place that connects each page to the wider customer journey, you’re missing out on valuable conversions.

Nine times out of ten, the website isn’t ugly or badly built. It just isn’t guiding anybody anywhere.

Someone arrives from a search, a social post, or a friend’s recommendation. They land on a page that half-answers their question, with four other things competing for attention and no obvious next step. So they leave — and you never find out they were there.

Posting more on social, spending more on ads and sending more emails just pushes more people into the same leaky journey. Fixing what happens after the click is what turns that traffic into enquiries.

  • Visitors land on a page and are back out within seconds.
  • Your homepage tries to speak to everyone, so it lands with no one.
  • People read two or three pages and never find a next step.
  • Enquiries come from referrals and luck, not from the website itself.
  • You’re paying for traffic that doesn’t convert into anything.

Case Study: Creating a Content Strategy That Brought An American SaaS Product to the UK Market

Equisoft wanted market share in UK life insurance, up against three established competitors. Before a word was written, I researched where each of them was vulnerable and the opening was regulatory compliance and digital transformation.

That became the spine of the strategy: buyer personas, search intent and keyword volume mapped into a content plan, then a landing page brief specific enough for a writer to execute.

Through my strategy, Equisoft was able to focus on producing content that gave them a firm grasp on the UK market, with results still ongoing.

The Three Things My Website Content Strategies Fix

Content strategy isn’t a list of forty tactics. It’s making sure your site is structured around what people search for, and built so they can act on it.

Site hierarchy & navigation

Organising pages so both users and search engines make sense of your site. I map out which pages you need, what each one is for, and how they connect — so visitors always know where they are, and Google knows what to rank you for.

Content gap & intent mapping

Aligning what users are searching for with the exact content on your high-value pages. I compare the real searches your audience makes against what you've already written — then close the gaps on the pages that actually bring in work.

Conversion-focused user flows

Ensuring every page guides visitors logically to the next step. Each page gets a job, a sequence and a single clear action, so the interest you've created has somewhere obvious to go instead of evaporating.

Get the Blueprint You Need for Lasting Content Performance

When you work with me, you don’t just get a list of things to fix; you get an actual system that you or your developer can implement.

This isn’t a standard content marketing strategy where I give you some SEO keywords and blog post ideas; it’s a look at how your site is fundamentally performing and what’s holding it back.

Because in many cases, it’s not another piece of content or investing in content marketing services that you actually need; it’s taking what you have and turning it into a strategy that leads your audience through each stage of the funnel.

01
A visual site architecture map

Your whole site on one page: every page, what it's for, and how it links to the others. It settles the "what do we build next?" argument in about thirty seconds.

02
Page-by-page content & messaging recommendations

For each high-value page: what it needs to say, in what order, what to cut, and why it matters to the person reading it. Specific enough to brief out immediately.

03
Keyword-to-page mapping guide

Assign every target search to exactly one page, so your pages stop competing with each other and nothing high-value gets left without a home.

Let's give the traffic you already have somewhere to go.

Whether you need one part of your content strategy sorted or the whole system rebuilt, it starts the same way: a free 15-minute consultation. No pitch, no obligation, just a straight look at what’s happening on your site and what I’d change first.

  • Step One: Book the 15-minute call and tell me what’s not working or use the contact form and send me your website URL.
  • Step Two: I’ll tell you honestly whether content strategy is the fix or if something else is going on behind the scenes that’s impacting your organic traffic from becoming customers.
  • Step Three: If it’s a fit, you get a clear scope and a start date. If it isn’t, you’ve lost fifteen minutes

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

“Hannah helped me enormously with the SEO for my website, redesigned and improved several pages, and clearly explained what was and wasn’t working. She made everything feel far less overwhelming.” — Breda Morrissey

FAQS

What's the difference between a content strategy and an SEO content strategy?

Most agencies treat them as the same thing: you pay, you get a keyword list and a blogging schedule, and you have to work out the rest yourself. An SEO content strategy starts from the searches your potential customers are actually typing into a search engine, then decides what each page needs to say to answer them.

A content strategy goes wider — positioning, messaging, and the order someone reads things in.

I build both together, because splitting them is exactly how sites end up with pages that rank and still don’t convert.

Yes — and for plenty of businesses it’s the right place to start. A content audit reviews your current content page by page: what each page is there to do, whether it’s earning its place in organic search, and where two pages are quietly competing for the same search.

Then I show you what to optimise, what to merge, and what to retire. You keep the findings either way, whether or not you ask me to act on them — and if your existing content isn’t the problem, I’ll tell you that instead of selling you work you don’t need.

No. Keyword research tells you what people search for. It doesn’t tell you which page should own that search, in what order that page should make its case, or what should happen at the end of it — and that’s the part that decides whether your business objectives get met.

What you walk away with is a content plan where every target search belongs to exactly one page, so your pages stop competing with each other and the right content you already have finally gets found. That’s the extra step most keyword reports skip.

A content marketing agency usually sells you output: a retainer’s worth of articles and posts every month. That has its place — but it multiplies what you publish. If the structure underneath is wrong, you’re paying for more content creation that nobody converts on.

I start with the system instead: what you have, what’s missing, and what job each page is doing.

Then, when you do need to create content, you know exactly what to make and where it goes.

It’s marketing strategy decided first, before anyone writes a word or spends more on marketing efforts that lead nowhere.

By working backwards from the searches and the people making them. Audience research tells me how your right people phrase what they want, how far along they are, and what they need to see before they’d trust you with the job.

Then I design a page for each distinct search intent, instead of one page asked to cover six. That’s how you end up with content needs that map to real demand, rather than a site organised around how your business is structured internally.

It depends on the size and state of your site, but I won’t give you a vague answer. Fixed-scope work is quoted as a fixed fee, because you shouldn’t pay for my learning curve.

Bigger engagements, like the three-month accelerator, can be paid outright or split into convenient instalments.

So whether you’re comparing professional content strategy services or weighing up a content strategy agency, you’ll know the number, the deliverables and the timescale before anything starts.
